Double Attack Blackjack is a Player’s Suite game that is based on traditional blackjack, but gives the player the opportunity to double their initial bet as soon as they have seen the dealer’s up card. This allows you to perform a “double attack” whenever you think that the dealer’s hand is going to be weaker than yours, thus helping you to maximise potential profits on likely winners.
You start by deciding how much you want to bet normally, and then click on Deal. The dealer’s up-card will then be shown and you have to choose whether to select the Double Attack option (costing the same as your original bet) or the No Double Attack option (which involves no further cost).
When you have decided whether to double attack or not, your two cards are dealt and the game proceeds according to normal blackjack rules. Just remember that if you have decided to double attack, all of your money on the table is now counted as your stake, so splitting or doubling down will cost the same as this higher total, which is equal to twice your original stake.
The game here is very entertaining, and a very nice touch is being able to watch two cannons shooting at the dealer’s hand whenever you successfully pull off a Double Attack. Rules to Note: The game uses eight decks of cards with the 10s removed. You are allowed to split a pair once and to double-down after a split. If you split a pair of aces only one more card can be dealt to each new hand.
